Visualizing my experience regarding Amal Academy

First of all I would like to share my experience of joining Amal Career-Prep Fellowship in which I have learned about different aspects of personal and professional growth. I really don’t know about Amal academy. One day, one of my batch fellows told me about Amal academy and I really got inspired by the way she presented each and every point to me. The biggest thing she discussed with me was about her mega project in which she met with old age people in old age homes. After discussing with her, I applied for the Amal fellowship and then I got selected for this fellowship. I was very happy at the time of selection because I was really amazed after discussing with my batch fellow and I really want to be a part of this amazing fellowship.

I have learnt here how to groom yourself personally and professionally. In the first two weeks of Amal Career-Prep Fellowship, I have learned about my values, life map, acts of kindness and answering to Why which is one of my favorite things to discuss because answering to why is important in life. If we don’t know the reason behind choosing any thing, this thing has no aim to be utilized. By this fellowship, I came to know the reasons behind choosing different things in my life. And this journey of choosing things before not knowing the reason for knowing the reason for choosing them is beautiful and Amal Academy has made me to think and analyze things in such a way and knowing the reason behind choosing these things and aims. Amal Academy has provided me a way to think about myself, my strengths, my weaknesses and my values.

Here is my life map in which I have shared my happy and sad moments of life.

Might be in the second week of fellowship, there is a project in our project work in which we have to talk about our values. And I have been told that I have values like accuracy, achievement, honesty, happiness and hard work. It’s only because of this fellowship, I became able to think and write about my values.

I have also learnt that no one is beautiful without kindness and this is the lesson that I have learnt during an online course and an activity in the second week of this fellowship. There is an activity in which we have to click on five acts of kindness. Here is a screenshot of that activity:

This Amal journey which is going to end soon is such a journey of three months of my life that I never want to forget. I have learnt many things from this fellowship and practiced these things in my life. Joining Amal academy is the footstep that has changed my mind, my thinking and my life (Thank You Amal Academy).
